On October 8–9, 2026, Warsaw will host the new edition of the international Student Games Festival and the Best Student Game Awards. The Student Games Festival is a unique international event designed to spotlight student creativity, foster collaboration between education and the game industry, and promote games as works of culture and art.

The festival includes:

  • Best Student Game Awards
    A competition where the most promising students are able to showcase their games on stage and in the expo area. The best projects, selected by an international jury, will receive awards and internship opportunities.
  • Conference
    Discussions panels, lectures, workshops, and networking bringing together students, educators, industry professionals, and cultural organizations.
  • Job Fair & Mentoring
    Meet game studios, explore career opportunities, and learn from top experts in the field.

Best Student Game Awards 2026

Full program details will be announced soon. Meanwhile, submissions are now open for the international competition for the best student projects. Teams from around the world can compete for awards in four categories:

  • Artistic Greatness
  • Technical Greatness
  • Meaningful Game
  • Best Student Game Award

Who can apply? Students and recent graduates (up to 12 months after graduation)

The event is supported by partners including 11 bit studios, Larian, Indie Games Polska, EUNIC – European Union National Institutes for Culture, and AMD. The project is co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of the Creative Industries Development program of the Creative Industries Development Center.
